The Perfect Hostess can be another name for the Mother of the Bride. She takes a major role in organising the wedding by getting together with the bride and groom and the brides father to sort out the financial aspects.
She will be involved with her daugher in all aspects of the wedding.
On the wedding day she will travel with the bridesmaids to the service venue.
Then travel with the brides father from the service to the reception venue.
She will then stand in line greeting the guests and be at the head or second to the brides father in this line.
Dance with the brides father for the first dance when invited to take the floor.
Most important is that she must liase with the grooms mother to ensure that there is no clash of outfits for that day.
